I purchased these two "used" SO-DIMM chips in September 2007 and they arrived in about 1 week. The 2 chips were dropped in a styrofoam envelope without any additional wrapping and were loose within the envelope. The chips have worked well and I have not had any issues with them. I used this to upgrade an old white Macbook from the standard 1GB to 2.5GB, by replacing one of the pre-installed 512MB modules. It worked great - replacing the memory was truly easy, even for a complete non-expert like me. All you need is a screwdriver. No problems with the laptop afterwards, and worked much faster with the memory upgrade when using multiple programs. Definitely a great buy compared to the price you will pay in an Apple store or Best Buy.

My Dell latitude c610 had only 128 MB, needed more power, learned how to install from reading Dell user guides and Kommando newsletters. Went to Amazon, found great price for this, slammed it in, fired it up, and now have mid warp speed, plan on replacing the 128 with another 512 when I can get same deal, like 80 bucks, then will be at max RAM for this unit and thus far am very pleased with this and other stuff from Amazon.
