Acronyms, such as SDRAM, DDR, DDR2, DDR3, SODIMM, MicroDIMM, pins and CAS Latency perhaps well and good for all computer gurus out there But what if you are the 98% of us straight on to your laptop computer savvy and upgrade Aren 't? Now you know what we listen to you - in fact, we will take steps to prove it! Although we can not promise that you are a genius of memory, from what follows, webelieve this, but we can really help. Ready to wipe some of that haze and get on the right track to a successful laptop memory upgrade? Read on!
SDRAM, DDR, DDR2 and DDR3
"Laptp Memory"
All of the above, SDRAM, DDR, DDR2 and DDR3 memory in the technologies. They vary in age, speed, voltage and timings when things a bit easier. Despite SDRAM only by the acronym RAM, all in fact, though, RAM SDRAM, DDR, DDR2 andDDR3. RAM, in fact stands for Random Access Memory and is often used as an alternative to say, "memory" is used. SODIMM

Lastly, a DDR2 MicroDIMM upgrade should be on your agenda, containing 214pins.
Timings
Every time you seeor listen to timing (within the RAM) is anything to do with running on the delays in terms of how efficient a particular SODIMM and MicroDIMM. For simplicity, including the delays with how fast a memory module can be accessed find where to read or write the data you are looking for an open space where copy some new data, and data refreshing after the execution of such orders.

The CAS latency is usually such as CAS 3, CL3, CL = 3 marks or the information hidden timing, as mentioned above. For example, if you see a SODIMM and MicroDIMM with 4-4-4-12 timings than then the first number from the left (4 in this case) is written, the CAS latency. And if you have a DDR2 memoryModule of the same frequency, but then with 3-4-4-10 timings, this means it is certified to run instead of a CL = 3 CL = 4.
